Started Band need help

me and my freind started a band a while ago. We have a drummer (me) a bass, and 2 guitars. It was going good until we found sum problems

problem 1: No name: our first name (blackwater) is already taken

problem 2:No singer: one of our guitar players insists he can sing, but nobody has the heart to tell him he stincks

problem 3: we've got good music without lyrics, and good lyrics without music. cant put them together

anybody with experience in being in a band PLEASE help

any drummers know?
HOW THE @#$! do you fix a jacked up snare? more specifically, i cant get the snappy's to be tight enough so i can play quietly, but loose enough so that it doesn't sound like a tom. its really pissin me off.

bout the snare, just get a drum key and loosed the bolts holding the rim so tightly, about the other stuff, maybe ask hippie or crown idk

For the snare, you just have to play with it. I have a Pearl set configured from the factory because they made the settings for me when I bought it (cost extra). The key is to keep each side even when you tighten and loosen them. Just play around until it is perfect, same with the bass.

bout the snare

thanx, but i tried all that
and i misworded the problem. It does extra rattling when i hit nearby toms, and i cant fix that by tightening snappys because then the drum goes tom.
but thanx anyway
