Well, as harsh as it may have been... frankly i'm not suprised at the total outcome. Of course this is completely one sided in face value... but the other side can be picked out.
Mainly some of the jagex responses refer to his 'messages'... plural. Mods I would imagine already have plenty on their plates, if they find a majority coming from one person, one of two things could go through their heads:
1. Wow, dedicated!
2. Hmph, show off.
Most likely, number 2 was the general feeling among mods. I mean, the very first pic posted said, "Silence The Critics". Maybe mods, maybe members, who knows.
Anyways, the abuse reporters of Runescape and outside of the game report offenders knowing that there will be no reward other than one less hacker, scammer or whatever off the game/web. To some, thats enough of an incentive. To others, that isn't enough for them, therefore they do not bother reporting.
Keep in mind, look at the dates... the bulk took place in less than a week. Patience is a virtue. Numerous times patience was asked for. It seems that it didn't work
Unfortunately, a very promising figure decided after he did not get what he want(by whatever means, it does not matter) that he should quit. It is his decision, but if the only reason he did everything was to become a mod thats something I do not respect whatsoever. If what he was doing was as good and righteous as it seemed, people would have turned around, people would have looked again. Since he got mad, quit and made sure to mention all of the countless things he's done... it kind of killed his image of "maturity and decent posting" as a mod said.
It doesn't matter how he was in the long run, it is a big loss for the Mods.

QUOTE(Doji Jiro @ Dec 15 2004, 06:24 PM)
in response to MoS post, i think RS will suffer too. Since he wont be looking for hacking websites to be closed, more will pop up because he left.
Just a thought what is going to happen.
Just a thought what is going to happen.
Maybe, maybe not. I highly doubt he is the only one looking for hacking websites. Effective? Yeah, definately. The only one? Doubt it.

I saw that a week ago.
Shadowdancers fallen of his high horse, bohoo, no-one cares, how do you think a government is made?, by people electing senators, obviously no-one liked you so weren't a mod. When you've fallen of your horse you don't just give up and have a cry, you get on back and keep on going.
Shadowdancer overall is just a highly strung arrogant person, get over it.

you would be suspended(not likely for something so small) because of previous actions. besides its mild flaming anyway so it wouldent be a suspention.
