QUOTE
We have made a few improvements to Castle Wars today:

You no longer need your own flag to score a point for your team, just bring the enemies flag back to your flag point! This should lead to more exciting higher scoring games.
The yellow arrow will now point to where your opponents flag is if it's been dropped or being carried by someone.
There is now a timer displayed in the game window while in the waiting areas showing you when the next game will start - no more trying to spot time messages in your chat window!
Your own team will now appear green on the minimap and your opponents will appear white. This replaces the normal friends list effects in the castlewars area.
"Attack" is now the left-click option on all your opponents, and right-click on all of your own team.
The doors out of the respawn rooms are now "Energy Barriers", so the whole team can pass through at once.
A few minor fixes

How good are all of these!!!!!!

Reldo, our expert librarian, has sent a messenger to inform us of some recent discoveries he has made while cataloguing the Library of Varrock.
Luckily for players, this means we have been able to update our World Map with the locations of some mysterious hitherto unknown islands known as Ape Atoll, Miscellania, and Etceteria.

He has also sent us an artists rendition of a green dragon, which can be found in our extra files section to admire. Legend says this is actually a picture of a younger Elvarg, before consuming so many unwary adventurers...

I found one of their changes. Nucking futs, to quote bigrat.

Flax. Screwed up. Completely.

One plant, then it disappears.

Crazy.

F&^*ing CRAZY!

Whoa, flax disappears after one pick?

That's crazy, it'd be impossible to complete any large orders. eek4.gif

... They'd better change that back, or they're going to have a loooot of angry crafters and fletchers on their tails.

They SHOULD change it back. It's just not right anymore... unless they're trying to make Runescape seem more realistic... which is kinda cool but more annoying.

Castle Wars update sounds awesome! The doors thing sounds good but the team colours on the mini-map... Darn! Now we can't find friends who are on the same team using the map. sad.gif

As well as the fact if you have friends on the opposing team, then it'll be hard to tell until you come up face to face with them.

^^ Thanks Ayumi, you rock!! ^^

How many five-year-olds could you take in a fight?
Red Carnation, Hibiscus. Spiderflower. White Violet... Peony?

Oh, forgot to post about the castle wars changes. eek7.gif

Yeah, they all sound great! The only exception is what JGJ pointed out, but I think that's a pretty minor thing. What I'd do is just pick another colour for team-mates, maybe some sort of darkish blue. That way friends lists can still show up as green. TheSmile.gif

They did the main thing I had wanted, to make it so you can click any enemy to attack (no right-clicking if they're even one level higher, got real tired of right clicking those 85's) and your first choice on teammates is walk here instead of attack. It's still hard to tell who's who in a big pile with all the health bars and prayer symbols in the way, but at least there's a clue when you right click.

The green dots are an interesting idea, but (1) it makes it hard/impossible to find friends on either team and (2) it makes you pretty conspicuous (if they didn't notice your different cape color eek7.gif ) when you go to the other side.

The door change is great, no more climbing up the ladder to get to the ground eek7.gif .
