Please don't shout in topic titles if you don't have to though, lol... Mods shouldn't edit shouting out as of this moment, but as the poster of a topic you should show some responsibility as well. Sometimes it may be necessary, but normally it isn't. Please think about that before shouting.

Previously the shouting in topic titles was filtered and turned into a more pleasant form, however as many know this sometimes hindered with the intended format of other topics. I have disabled this filter, although it will still filter excessive punctuation (will still turn "This!!!!!" into "This!"). This will hopefully make some things a little easier for everyone. "NPCs" will look like that, "I sayz 'Defenestration!'" will not turn the capital 'D' into a lower case 'd', and other common issues are now fixed.

You could capitalize the first letters of words previously, however in some topic titles the previous filter caused issues... such as quotations and punctuation causing letters to be wrongly lower-case and the times when upper-case is required for formatting ("SeeD", "NPC", or whatever else). Compared to these times when (unless you're a mod) you cannot do anything to fix what the board forces upon you, having the first letter not automatically capitalized is a bit minor.
There is no way to selectively set up the automatic capitalization of the first letter as is included in the other filter without a modification. If it is that much of an inconvenience to capitalize the first letter, I'll see what I can do.

Make the filter include those words. So Npc in the title would be filtered to NPC. And such. And if someone finds you missed one, you can fix it.
HI! I'M BACK SPORADICALLY! Nobody probably remembers me :(

Didn't think about that, that could possibly work to fix half of the problems. Unfortunately the punctuation issues will still be problems and every single possibility for case-related formatting would have to be entered and there will always be more.
Hehe, it's a good idea though

'Tis a good idea, it'd just be eeeeevil to incorporate, and require a lot of work. I think we're probably fine as we are now, most people put capitals at the start of topic titles anyway.

Cool! Now we can really express ourselves in our topic titles!
For example: Lazy people like it to be like "a new job" (No offence, I'm just really happy for some reason right now, and krazy
). And for people reeeeeally specific about grammer (AKA Cspace+Me+Star+Draggy+Others), it'll always be what we want! And then for the Insane times, we can go all "W0otAge! aH gOts mE t3H PwNz0Rz!"
Yay Cspace!
Yay Cspace!
