Yay! Go random guessing. biglaugh.gif

In the game Might and Magic VI: The Mandate of Heaven, what are the 4 default classes that are picked for you when you choose your game party? E.g. Druid, Archer etc.

Lol! I do have to say that your guessing is nearly spot on! Nearly but not quite bluetongue.gif

By the way this game is REALLY old! So you might find it hard to find the answer but I'll give you a clue: They've incorporated these characters into a quest in Runescape HOWEVER they changed their names so I'll need their correct names - not Runescape ones

Since I'm a bit bored I'll write down what it says on the back of the case to show you how old it is.

Experience the Rebirth of a Legend.

From the depths of the deepest dungeons to the intrigues of the royal court you will lead a band of adventurers on a dangerous journey of amazing depth and intelligence, (note this part to see how old it is) with a completely new 3D graphics engine and a sophisticated non-linear adventure system Might and Magic VI - The Mandate of Heaven brings to life the most fantastic, engrossing and intense role-playing experience ever created.

Master your destiny in a non-linear fantasy universe where your choices and actions determine the game's outcome.

Explore the intricacies of hundreds of sub plots, spin-offs and mini-quests.

Customize the gameplay on the fly for either real-time or turn based combat mode.

(Ok you gotta read this bit because it shows how OLD it is)

Feast your eyes on exceptional 16-bit, 65,000 colour graphics in a high-res smooth scrolling world.

Well, the RS ones you're referring to are the warrior, the archer, the monk and the wizard...

*Makes the clue post for a nasty question*

Ok. The RS ones are not the precise ones for the game however run along the same lines.

Warrior - Incorrect
Archer - Correct
Monk - Incorrect
Wizard - Incorrect

And then putting forth Goto's previous guesses...

Druid - Incorrect
Archer - Correct
Warrior - Incorrect
Sorcerer - Correct

And another clue: The "Warrior" is a cross between the "Monk" and the "Warrior" (referring to the RS names) so that might make it a little more difficult but 'twil be easy for all those RPG players thumb.gif

EDIT: I also just realized that the hybrid of the "Warrior" and "Monk" is also a monster/human fighter in Runescape so that lands a BIG helping hand for you guys to figure out this one.

Say what? eek7.gif

Where'd you get the Rogue part Reddy? There's no Rogue in Might and Magic VI: The Mandate of Heaven unless you mean one of the monsters you encounter then yes there is a Rogue in the game bluetongue.gif

C'mon people, you can guess!

Warrior (Hybrid of the "Warrior" and the "Monk" and is a monster/human fighter in Runescape)
Archer
Monk (Need the specific name - not the Runescape one)
Sorcerer (Also known as the Wizard in Runescape)

The ones in Green are the ones correct so far and the ones in Red are incorrect.

Close but not quite.

The Priest is the second stage of the "Monk" since you have to do a quest to become a Priest.

And the Knight is a totally different class.

The "Warrior" is a hybrid of the Knight and the "Monk". Just search Runescape for this mysterious class of character grnwink.gif

Darn you and your evilness screama.gif

Yes the answer was Paladin, Archer, Cleric and Sorcerer in the correct order grnwink.gif

You have the choice of the "pure" classes which are the Knight, Cleric and Sorcerer.

And then you have the "Hybrids" or "Dual-Classes" which are the Palading, Archer and Druid.

The Paladin is the cross between the Knight and the Cleric
The Archer is the cross between the Knight and the Sorcerer
The Druid is the cross between the Cleric and the Sorcerer

I always like to choose the Paladin, Knight, Cleric and Sorcerer as my game party biglaugh.gif
