Ok! I am doing Hero's Quest and I have gotten the Lava Eel and the Fire Feather and I would have completed the last bit which was to get the Master Thief Armband since Alpha kindly gave me a spare Pete's Candlestick if it weren't for the fact that you need to actually retrieve the Candlestick yourself!

Best way to get a partner is to post in the sticky in the quest forum at the official forums. You should get one right away.
Make sure you drop the candlestick and don't leave it in the bank, or you won't be able to find them in the room (your partner won't, rather). It took me and my partner something like 3 hours to figure this out
