As some of you know, I recently took the SAT with Ferret Overlord (Two weeks ago Saturday, I believe.) Obviously, we're younger than the regular testing age bluetongue.gif Point being, I got my results back. For my age, I think they're quite good. Yarr:

A 1080 in all biglaugh.gif Seeing as a B student in 11th or 12th grade might get a 1000, I think I'm coming along quite well. TheSmile.gif Mesa happy.

Congrats, that's a great result! TheSmile.gif

Actually I know nothing about the test in particular, but hitting the same mark as the average yr 11 or 12 is certainly a good thing. biglaugh.gif

I tend to forget, what grade are you and FO in?

Yeah, it gets kind of confusing as there's the Stanford Achievement Test (I think that's its name) for various grades (I think that was replaced with FCAT here in Florida. . .) and then there's the College Board's SAT (college admission test type-thing) which is what Hyper took.

'tis a good score Hyper. You likely can look forward to a better one in the future biglaugh.gif .

Yup, I am bluetongue.gif And thanks, I really appreciate that! thumb.gif I also just found out that Ferret got 1100! (Big ooh's and ah's.) 550 on both. I out-did him in math, but not verbal.

Great job Hyper! thumb.gif It's great for confidence when you know you've already succeeded to a certain level, hehe. bluetongue.gif

I'm not very smart myself though. icon_sweatdrop.gif Actually, what am I talking about, I'm not smart. bluetongue.gif I remember once when I was having a parent-student-teacher (eh, three way crazy.gif ) conference my mom said something about me having some speech processing problem and that they had me checked out or whatever. I can't remember what 'results' were though. I think that proves it's true. bluetongue.gif

Anyways, I guess it doesn't help during class since it's hard to follow what the teacker is saying. costumed-smiley-089.gif --> crazy.gif It's made me into a person that thinks about something before making a decision which is pretty helpful sometimes. And that turned me into someone that likes to give advice since I think about everything for a while. bluetongue.gif And the whole thing made into a guy who spaces out a lot. eek7.gif biggrinbandit.gif

Cspace... D-Space... Draggy... Spacing out... D-Space... OH MY GOD! eek4.gif

At any rate, it doesn't always take great listening skills to be smart. You can't judge your level of intelligence by how you do in school. Look at how you write, for example. Look at that post you just typed up. I see absolute clarity, no mistakes, no trash - just good, to-the-point creativity. Don't judge a book by its cover. You might just find it's got something special inside grnwink.gif
