Well, it's down being fixed right now. And yes Goto, I've only had about 2 and a half months so it's still under warranty, although if it is some sort of virus I don't know if it'll be covered. Oh well, I just hope it's repairable.

Double post, yes. But also an update.

Apperantlly it was the motherboard, it just died for no particular reason. So luckily that's covered by warranty and he's put a new motherboard in it, free of charge. TheSmile.gif I'll pick it up after work today.

Heh.. from experience.. I know what goes wrong with a computer if it doesn't boot up. My first guess would have been motherboard as well... I wonder.. maybe a cord got loose and zapped it? Or just some random power surge, I'm going on a hunch the MB got fried.

And yeah.. I've had experience with blowing up my hard drives. Not fun. Chris = Defenestrating old hard drive if he hadn't given it to his uncle to try to fix.

And all my cool stuff was on that one.. wahh.

What's wrong with your dad's computer, Final?

Well at least it's fixed now, that's good to hear (what is not so good is that you're back onto runescape bluetongue.gif )

Computers tend to be fairly unreliable at the best of times, things do tend to suddenly stop working inexplicably. At least when it's fairly easy to determine where the problem is, that one component can be replaced so things are back to normal quickly.

Not sure really, it works ok... until you go on the internet. icon_sweatdrop.gif I think it must just be full of spyware or something. Even though he has alot of protection against that sort of thing.
