alright, this is a puzzle my science teacher gave my science class one time, its really great.

there a 7-letter word, from which you can make a 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1-letter word. theres only one word that it works for in the english language. if you think youve figured it out, PM your answer to me, with the 1-7 letter words. when someone gets it right, ill announce what the answer is.

alright peoples, due to a suggestion from goto, im changing it, just post your answers, dont PM them to me.

and also, due to a silly comment of JGJs, i just thought id add that these words are ALL in the english language. and you can rearrange the letters to make the words, you dont have to just add letters in.
