I finally got a new computer!!
I can play runescape on it!!!! Therefore i can play much more every day
btw i noticed all computers with XP suddenly start turning their fan on high power whenever someone plays runescape. y is this only for XP?

Um... I think the fan thing is just a coincidence. Unless your fans are "smart" (automatically sped up or slowed based on temperature), manually adjustable (usually through fanbus dials on your front panel), or broken (short in the wire, or clogged with dust), they should spin at a relatively constant rate. I don't know of anything in XP that would cause that.

Hehehe, about the fan, could just be that when theres high processor usage, like running games and stuff, it turns on the fan higher power. Or then its just a coincidence bluetongue.gif

XP...ME...I have heard bad things about all of them. and I have also heard it said that 98 is the best released and that no one should switch. but thats just conjector I have circumed to lol.

ME really is bad...

98 was better than XP at first, but it's so fundamentally flawed that its problems essentially CAN'T be fixed. It's quite easy to bypass the screensaver and login passwords, and it has many internet-related security holes as well. The upside to 98 is that newer viruses are usually designed for XP and won't affect Win98 users.

XP had problems at first, but they're largely fixed now as long as you don't install SP2.
