In order to improve our clan we will need to see what everyone would most want. This poll will help us determine our focuses for the first part of 2005.

Thanks TheSmile.gif

Note: Activity is not in the poll because, no matter what, promotion will be a certain focus of 2005 as it was back in 2002-2003. First we just have to get back on track.

Faction unity. We need to get out there and show the world who's boss around here!

I selected pking becuase:

-in-game that is one of the main things to do with freinds.

- It is a chance to do other things before and after going on a party

- pking has declined alot here and it is big part of what most clans do

- I think factions are taking care of them selves, and uniting them to, to much of a degree would be making them relient on each other

- comunity already exists, and there is nothing that brings people closer together then murder bluetongue.gif

- alot of ppl have left and have plans to leave in the future(alot of long time members) it seems, becuaser it is not a strong enough aspect of this clan.

- when ppl think of joining a clan they think of pking alot, and so having a stronger pking comunity means there is a niche for them that is not yet well provided meaning that we should get more active members...

- and alot of past events are wildy related.

-ore then pking I think that adventuring and in game activity should be premoted, and that was the closest thing I could see to it in the options.

I said factions because this is the newest thing to SeeD, and it needs to be our main focus.

I chose meetings.....We don't have enough of them...and also I suppose this next part falls into "Other" But I think there should be a "Jury" Or select few for SeeD Court decisions. Perhaps this "Jury" can meet in an AIM Chat room for those kinda things that involve punishment inside the clan? Just a thought...

Oh come on... me give a "real" answer? Surely you jest bluetongue.gif Instead, comments.

Meetings (weekly or otherwise) - Sure. Even though we have the forums, and other players tend to turn "Please leave, this is a clan meeting" into "Come on in, plenty of free stuff for ya," they do end up being a lot of fun. Weekly might be a bit much, but once or twice a month would be fine, followed by an obligatory party/ raid/ murder/ whatever.
Events (in any or all games, as well as RS) - We're doing pretty well event-wise on RS, but (unless I've missed something) the only other SeeD event was a monster killing spree in MapleStory. It should sort itself out as the factions develop, though.
PKing - No comment.
Community - I think we're doing well here as well; we've had problems, but lately, no major ones. w00t for us.
Skills/Advancement (returning a certain skill focus/specialists) - Guilds. Guilds! GUILDS!
Faction Interaction and Unity - Factions are still undeveloped... but, again, this should sort itself out.
Other (please specify) - The (SeeD) site is still living in 2002. Needs updates relating to factions, RS2, and the like. Hmm... this thought came to mind as I was typing this, so ignore it if you wish... but what if the SeeD site were a Wiki? I won't go into detail since I hadn't thought about it until about 30 seconds ago, and because it would probably cause problems since SeeD and CurvedSpace are intermingled... but, meh.
Those who will remember, will speak fondly of the warm morning breeze.

i picked events because, if it's the same old thing, who would stay? (well, i still would)
This was totally out-dated.
Now it's updated.
I think?
Yeah.

....
Nice.

I chose PKing because well to agree with Esron it's really a focus of most games out there (killing others) and can really bring people closer together. But no offense to /anyone/ but the last SeeD PK Event we kept changing worlds so we were lagged like everyone five minutes. You really can't switch worlds a lot, you need to stick on one world and wait, and if you do switch not a whole lot. It takes cunning to PK right, and yes I speak from experience, so basically my point is PKing can be a lot of fun. But you need to think about what you're doing and not just go with random world switching. This also brings up about events, from what I've seen a lot of events /appear/ random, and yes we're basically all random but sometimes good events (PK and Otherwise) take planning and good planning not just random bits. Anyway this is just my two/three cents so have fun with it see ya! thumb.gif

I chose Factions, we need more unity between them and as they're new additions.

I chose factions and unity, because if we could get that working, we could get more events, more meetings and more clan activity in general going. Whatever_anim.gif

I think SeeD should become more involved with RS and become like other clans, involve in wars etc, get noticed and be out there.. like on RSC tons of clans mentioned and SeeD whos been around for a few years, noone knows about icon_sweatdrop.gif icon_sweatdrop.gif

To be quite honest, I think SeeD is pretty darned good as is. I had a fair bit of trouble choosing, mainly because most of the items on the list could already be deemed as having very good quality. TheSmile.gif

However, I happened to chosoe Meetings. Admittedly, it's not necessary, but I think it could increase our... together-ness in different games. bluetongue.gif Besides, when it comes to us, meetings lead to events, which leads to fun! biglaugh.gif YAY!

I'm up for getting the meetings started again. I agree with Phieta, they really don't have to be once a week, but maybe once or twice a month, 'aye? The only thing I'm confused about now is, that since we're multi faction based, in what game? bluetongue.gif (I'm still thinking Runescape, since the majority of SeeD's members are Runescapians)

I also agree with faction unity, as it's in its early stage of development and needs to be focused on a bit. It's one thing that should grow over time, though. The main problem I see with factions at the moment is that they're only being made up of older SeeDs and no recruitment is going on. To all faction leaders, don't be afraid to recruit in-game, hehe, it's the only way the growth of your faction can take place TheSmile.gif

IMO, the others can be focused on at a later date, but right now these two are my choices of focus.
