Mm hm. Fake. You can tell by the way the punches are thrown.
And how tables are broken.
And how chairs are smashed.

I helped lead a Stage Combat class once. And the way they fight, and the way we taught how to hit are VERY similar.

The way chairs are smashed over their heads/backs/anywhere on their body is almost exactly the same. (Yes, I did beat a few people with chairs while acting)

Headlocks are done the exact same way.

"Paul Bearer"?

Please.

Ironic isn't it? bluetongue.gif

Its still fun to watch, I'm not a HUGE fan, but I do watch it on occasion.
Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be "The One".
Born to bear and read to all the details of our ending
To write it down for all the world to see.

Most of the injuries are real, Owen Hart died in 1997 (I'm not sure) when he fell to his death from over 100 feet.

Of course I knew It's fake, half the punches on camera don't connect at all and look bad. Kane however is one of the safest wrestlers, I went to the Raw show down In melbourne and watched him verse The Hurricane, his chokeslam is one of the safest moves performed in the WWE, when lifts them he use his back hand on their back, which softens the land (plus they're landing on a sheet of canvas).

Like Mick Foley being thrown off the top of the Hell in a Cell? you can't tell me that didn't hurt him....

^
He has no recollection of that of all, was on the Cactus Jack Dvd I got. Amazing what pain he's been through In his wrestling career (front tooth was stuck in his nose and loosing his left ear) yet he still makes a profitable career plus the numerous books he published.

QUOTE
They stomp when they hit and I wonder how they do punch people without breaking bones and having bloody hands

^
They do, they use razor blade a razor blade on their forehead before the match, and the other can easily split It open again, If you don't believe look at Austin and Shawn Michaels, their foreheads are scared from doing that.

QUOTE
Also, tables don't break in a nice straight line, saws do that (they just leave the plastic ring around it to hold it up). They don't hit people with chairs either, you would have a broken back and a nice red spot.

^
The chair shots are real, Mick Foley had It hit him seven time before haven to be taken to hospital, his wife watched the match, he also admits the shots were real in the dvd.

And the tables are cut, and they're also made out of very thin pine.

QUOTE
Finally, the ring is a big spring like Serph said, but it is highly padded.

^
The ring is actually streched out canvas with padding underneath, you can see It shake when someone jumps on It. They loosen the canvas when they want It to break, like when Bigshow choke slammed Taker through the ring.

And with the WWE, they offer no insurane, If a injury happens the wrestler is fully liable.

And Kanes story actually originated from the bible, Kane and Able the brothers.

I know a lot about wrestling. biglaugh.gif

The razor blades are given to them by the refs, who are also actors. The chair shots are real, but no injuries occur because the chairs are hollowed out and they hit them square on the back.

About the insurance, the wrestlers are NOT liable. They work for an acting organization, it isn't wrestling. Whatever_anim.gif
