This is being implemented for a few reasons:

- To free up valuable space in everyone's signatures
- To allow for secondary characters to more easily be implemented
- To allow for more extensive profiles
- To make the sign-up process more automatic
- To create an index of characters which is easy to navigate and updates on its own

Unfortunately, old characters must be re-registered in this manner. Nothing is lost though, just transfer your profile as it is now with all items and whatever else.

For characters both new and old, it's actually quite easy.

The new "Character Profiles" subforum of The Void is the place to do this. It is a topic-only forum where replies are disabled. To register a character you would write a thread for him/her, and then another thread for your secondary character. Then to update your character you would just edit your posts.

To replace the marquees which were previously used, now all you need to do is add a link to your characters' profiles. When clicked the link would normally open in a new window, preventing it from hindering with normal viewing of threads.

In your characters' profiles you should include the following in whatever format you choose:

- Name
- Class
- Race
- Hometown
- Total Stat Points
- Strength
- Intelligence
- Hit Points
- Items
- Secondary statistics and skills if applicable (should be separated somehow from the above)
- Anything else, for roleplay reasons or otherwise



Once your character is created again, you're free to head out into Earthia (or wherever) when you wish.
