i would like to state the fact that i was banned with circumstantial evidence. no i am not saying i did not edit bases sig which i did. im saying he banned me as soon as he saw his sig changed without consulting an admin to check logs to see if i did it. he immedeatly assumed it was me when he saw the pic. hell it could have been another mod that had the pic link!.

Rylkan: I didnt take away any powers, it was for a day, and if you did post a signature like he says, which may be false, and then retaliate, it is unbecoming a mod. All I did was give him a copy of the mod logs. If you wish, I can give you one too. But I did nothing to change anything.
Rylkan: I would rather see this not happen again, both of you just drop the point, and we all get along with our lives

do you really think base would be able to IM Rylkan talk to him have him check mod logs confirm i did it go on seed warnme and ban me in a matter of less than 60 seconds? i highly doubt this.

Believe it. He has me as a witness...Though...Base is gone for now (Maybe for the night) So if you were a good little SeeDling you'd respect your ban...I see that's not going to happen however...

You -did- abuse your mod-powers however...Whether or not he talked to Rylkan isn't a factor. You abused the powers, he has witnesses, and he suspended you for a day. The facts are going to Cspace and he will decide if you require some loss of mod-powers...With that said...Have a good night.

I stated (though I admit it was confusing) That since you knew it was a PICTURE. And you knew what kind of picture, the instant motive, and the reason why it happened...Aren't you already convicting yourself of being guilty? You're found as it..just respect the ban and let your fate balance.

I will discuss this with Rylkan tomorrow. Your one-day suspension will remain though. This isn't necessarily about your sig, but the manner in which you handled the situation presented to you. I am closing this thread for it is more of a mod issue now, since the issue itself is in the domain of the moderators and not the entire clan.

I urge all mods to present their viewpoints on the big picture in Mod Discussion regarding similar actions in the future.
