and is threating to do so again. He can using password recovery becuase he know more then 3 of my old passwords. I need help. I already transfered all my valuable items (worth 100k+) to a noob account so at lest he wont get them but he can easally get my lvl 53, p2p account (56 mining, 47 smithing, 47 fishing, 42 cooking) Please help. I could get his IP address but I might be hard please help.

Send a letter to Jagex explaining the problem and ask them to temp ban your acoount and change the recovery questions on It.

He hasn't taken it let and I just changed to password recovery stuff. And jagex doesn't responed or do anything about my letters. Is there a way to get his IP banned from the site? (Hes a hacker and a scammer and has stolen several hundred accounts. I think RS would be better off without him.)

Okay I notice you say you already solved the problem, but I simply wanted to note your account was not hacked to hack an actual account you'd need to hack RuneScape which is a jailible offense, so I doubt he actually has the tools nor/or the guts to do this. However you may want to go here to get some help, with finding different bugs on your computer, such as keyloggers adware spyware etc. Anyway I simply wished to help and to let you know what he prob really did, which was put keyloggers or anything else on your computer, other then that he prob guessed your passwords (as you stated) but since you stated you fixed the problem I guess you either deleted the account (IE: deleted membership moved all items) or other such things anyway just wanted to state you should go to the cexx website (mentioned in PC magizine and other such places so it is good/trusted) just to make sure your system is clean and they have plenty of forum mods who will direct you to great tools to help your computer.

If you know the right people and you know his IP address you could get anything done. If it is a permanent IP address you could get a bunch of people to bomb his IP address with information, thus killing his internet connection. If it is a dynamic ip address, complain to his ISP and explain the situation. More than likely something like this should be against his terms of service and he could get kicked by his ISP.

I wouldn't reccomend bombing it, as then you'd be the bad guy, so yeah it is better to fight with legal means other then illegal (and yes ddosing/bombing is illegal), however, reporting him would be the best.

yeah, i know its illegal, but if they are hacking, thats illegal too. Like I said though, bombing it the right way will leave little trace of who is doing it. I wouldn't recommend just anybody trying to bomb, but if you know what your doing it can be very effective.

Bombing it leaves a huge trace of who is doing it and if you do do it, I will make sure you are caught. It is also a federal crime and the ISP could take serious action against you in court. Not sure if you want a year in jail either... Don't even suggest bombing his connection.

DDoSing is a federal crime? That's a new one to me.

Oh well, just get me to do it, I doubt the US are bored enough to fly over here to arrest someone for DDoSing a 13 year old kid with acne's computer.

DDoS'er of IRC network arrested

Tom Bral, 20 year-old from Oudenaarde in Belgium has been arrested in suspicion of DDoS'ing the Kreynet IRC network.

Kreynet is the base some commercial TV stations use in Belgium to host their chats. Bral, who is using the nick Inco on IRC, had an application going for a server link on Kreynet.

Bral used to have a server linked to the AfterNet network as well.
"He used to say how he was very very dedicated to Afternet... but then we had some attacks on a testlink that some of us thought was just a little too good for INCO who was not well liked" AfterNet coordinator Rubin told IRC-Junkie in a reaction. "He was a pretty incompetent admin/oper ... always abusing the mailing list with drama and off topic posts. Its scary to think he had access to our hidden hubs IP's."
Although AfterNet never found any hard proof for DDoS from Bral, eventually his position was unmaintainable and his server and O:line got removed from the network.

In a reaction to AfterNet a Kreynet official spoke of two attacks, one of 1,5 hours and the other 3 hours, with 600MB of traffic during the DDoS attack. Kreynet will also have to pay the excessive traffic to its provider.

In an online Belgian newspaper Bral also has been named as a possible member of a worldwide network of people who attacked Microsoft.

The lawyer of Bral titled the actions of his client as 'mischief' and only being investigated as his client is also named as a possible attacker of Microsoft.

We also tried to contact a Kreynet official, but have had no response.

That guys from Oudenaarde, Belgium and he got arrested, everywhere and anywhere you are DDOSing is illegal, believe it or not. And ddosing someones home computer and/or businness computer is just as illegal, this is what the 'hackers black book' and other such stuff does not want you to know, and I'm sorry if I'm going against what you said Baseballl just wanted to note it was illegal pretty much all over the world (and before anyone says anything it is currently--as far as I know--possible to be arrested in the following places):

Gemany, Australia / NZ, US, Canada, Mexico, Basically anywhere in the North and South Americas, 50/50 in Europe (Although they have more penalties not sure on exacts depending where), and somewhat in Middle East and surrounding areas. Believe it or not they are beginning to crack down, although no one wanted to admit it until lately, there has been an increase in crackdowns on Suspected/True DDOS Hackers/Crackers, etc, in the last four to six years. If you wish to verify this you can look around MSN, IRC Addict, and other such sites. People are not stupid anymore, the worlds growing and times are changing, not only is it wrong but it is illegal and has capital penalties almost anywhere in the world.

I would never suggest bombing an ISP since that would just be stupid and your asking for trouble there. I will accept that you should not do it but I know a few people who have used bombing against people in other countries (This being a key part), and the solution has been effective. Like I said though....not too recommended
