It sleeps on the sea
Until wind pushes it away
Then it travels free
But for long it cannot stay

When it comes upon a home
The doors are tightly shut
It hides the dawn, so brightly fair
Air so thick it could be cut

It muffles any noise
It smothers all the sight
It coldly numbs my skin
Shuts out the morning light

What is it?

Oohh riddle time! ^_^

On a clock, the big and small hand are exactly between 1 and 2. Both hands lay on top of each other.

What time is it?

Well the hands shouldn't reach the point halfway between 1 & 2 at the same time, unless the hour hand is kinda inaccurate.

However, the time would be 1:07:30. Seven minutes and thirty seconds past 1 o'clock.

Well, if the hands are lying on top of each other, maybe they can't move, which means it's broken, so it's time to get a new clock.

BAD RAT! You should know not to post old trivia questions from the first trivia thread. bluetongue.gif

Too easy to remember the answer to... 12:00... however don't give me the point since we've had this question before. grnwink.gif

Hehe, yeah, should have seen that one. icon_sweatdrop.gif

As for the maths, it was pretty simple. All I did was work out when the minute hand would be halfway between 1 & 2, and assume the hour hand was inaccurate (as they so often are in clocks). Halfway between 1 & 2 means halfway between 5 and 10, which is 7 and 30 seconds. And of course it's between 1 and 2, so 1:07:30.

Not exactly 'complicated' or anything, Rat. biglaugh.gif
