After making your way around the woods, there is a clear path to a city situated about 200 metres from the beginning of the pathway, thick rows of tree surrounding either side. A few skulls (most of them look human) located here and there, some of them being fairly fresh, perhaps less than 3 days old. There is also a sign saying:

NO TRESPASSING.
ALL WHO ENTER WITHOUT THE STRICT PERMISSION OF THE ROYAL FAMILY WILL BE PUNISHED.

Elves pass constantly through the pathway with the occasional human being. There seems to be a necklace or amulet of some sort around the human's neck.

[Ferret Overlord]

After deciding that he's elf enough, Ferret Overlord attempts to enter.

OoC: ...Please take the appropriate measures to move your character to this region first.

OOC: Curses. How shall we get that...

[Bashae]

A group of bandits pass by and attempt to raid the town but are swiftly brought down by a volley of arrows.

[Snowy]

Rhesal, wearing his mother ever protective amulet, and being pure elf, attempts to enter.

[Bashae]

OoC: You don't have to do this quest, this is only for those who cannot enter Durencia. You also don't need an amulet unless you are non-elf (Dark Elves do not count )

IC: Rhesal seems to have no problems in entering Durencia, being an elf. You have full access to Durencia.

[Darkness]

OOC: And how are we to get in without being shot down? O.o

[Bashae]

OoC: How about... You do a quest? Is that good for you?
IC: An elf who seems to be high born taking a look at his clothes appears out of the woods. He holds several amulets in his hand, all of them which have the emblem of Durencia. He sits down near the entrance and begins levitating them. You can tell this is no ordinary elf.

[Bashae]

The elf looks up at you.
"I see that you want one of these," he says, "But to get one, you must take a test, to see if you are worthy of entering Durencia. If you have any friend, whom wish to assist you, bad luck. This is a test you must do on your own."

[Darkness]

Oric and Drathonian approach the man.
"We are brothers, and do not wish to be seperated. Might we take this test together? If we can, we are ready for the test. If we can't, we're ready for the test," Oric says.

[Bashae]

"While I do respect the strong bond between the two of you," he replies, "I will not go back on my word. You two must face this task alone. I will now provide you with the information." He stops levitating the amulets and they all snap back into his hand.
"To pass, you must face what has been done... what is being done... and what will be done." He faces Oric.
"Oric... You must first face your past... Your dark self."
A human seems to form right before your very eyes... It is Oric! Only he seems to be insane and incredibly powerful! A cosmic box surrounds the insane Oric and Oric himself.
"Drathonian... You too must face your past... Your brother."
Another human forms... It is another Oric, just as insane! Another cosmic box surrounds the other insane Oric and Drathonian.

Bloody Rage (Magical) - Using 500HP, Oric goes into a rage, doubling his DP for 3 turns.
Dark Whirlpool (Magical) - 500EP - Create a massive whirlpool of darkness, leeching 250HP.
Death's Awakening (Magical) - All remaining EP and 1000HP - Oric calls on the spirit of the dead, which automatically kills you in 3 turns. During this time, Oric cannot do anything.
Darker than Darkness (Magical) - 1000EP - Creates several balls of dark energy, which pummels you for 700HP.
Cosmic Vortex (Passive) - The cosmic vortex seems to dislike the dark, reducing Evil Oric's HP and EP by 100 per turn.

Dark Whirlpool (Magical) - 250EP - Create a massive whirlpool of darkness, leeching 125HP.
Death's Awakening (Magical) - All remaining EP and 500HP - Oric calls on the spirit of the dead, which automatically kills you in 3 turns. During this time, Oric cannot do anything.
Darker than Darkness (Magical) - 500EP - Creates several balls of dark energy, which pummels you for 350HP.
Cosmic Vortex (Passive) - The cosmic vortex seems to dislike the dark, reducing Evil Oric's HP and EP by 50 per turn.

OOC: O.o Crud.... I am soooo splitting up Reikin and Krytos in my next quest... You could've made it so that the two of them went into alternate realities. Like, Drathonian goes into another world that is just like his past when he hid from Oric, and he has to choose the right thing or he fails... But this is pretty cool too!

Oric:
Oric draws his sword and gets into offensive position.
"You are what I once was! I no longer need you!"
He lunges towards his 'former self' and slashes across the chest for 350 DP! Then he quickly moves to the other side of the box and gets ready to defend (but he doesn't because that would take another turn ).

Drathonian:
Drathonian turn into tiger form to do more damage to the foul illusion (I think it's an illusion...).
"I will not let you keep me from my brother!"
He bolts around to the back of Evil Oric and lunges at the neck, doing 210 DP! Then he bolts under it's legs, getting ready to defend.

OOC: O.o Your an elf. They are allowed in. It had nothing to do with the amulet. And you don' have to attempt to enter either.
