Every member's SeeD rank would be displayed under his/her name not unlike the Gardens. The rank field will appear under one's name after he/she reaches SeeD Rank 1.
While this is a "SeeD rank", it can also apply to members of CurvedSpace who are not technically SeeDs. The rank applies to deeds in SeeD as well as on the site and forums.

The Following Is Who Can Give SeeD Ranks:
Admins: Can add and remove SeeD ranks based on judgement. The change may occur over a variety of reasons and may not necessarily be situational.
Global Mods: Can add and remove SeeD ranks by one rank at a time based on judgement.
Super Mods: At this moment SMods are not allowed to alter ranks. They can, however, provide suggestions to those who can (which will be highly considered). While they are physically capable of altering ranks, I will ask that they do not right now.
Nobody should alter their own ranks obviously

SeeD ranks are not intended to be easy to accumulate. However, there are things you can do to possibly have it go up. The following are some tips:
- Be generally friendly toward others.
- Maintain activity in the clan. A member who is consistently active will have a higher chance of gaining SeeD ranks.
- Don't be afraid to post threads. This is a big aspect of activity on the forums which is commonly overlooked. Nothing wrong with replying or just plain lurking (reading), but new threads are what keep the place interesting. Even if not over a particularly important subject. They just keep the place... fresh.

- Go ahead and attend some events... or if you feel up to it, go ahead and organize some. Be sure to add your event(s) to the calendar though.

- Meet some people who you think would enjoy SeeD or the site? Don't be afraid to invite them. Also, don't be afraid to promote us on other sites where applicable... That's how we acquired our activity in the first place. If you're at an event also, don't be afraid to pull other players into it. That's another good way to promote SeeD. Promoting SeeD and CurvedSpace looks really good to those who can promote you.

- Don't start or get involved in conflicts if possible. Nothing wrong with staying out of them, that in itself is a good thing for the community... But if you truly feel capable of helping to end a situation on good terms, by all means see what you can do.
- ... And there are other things, not going to make the list finite. Basically you will improve your SeeD rank as you help SeeD and the site.

So What Do You Get?
- Your rank will be displayed to everyone on the forums and can show off your general inter-faction standing in SeeD. Right now this is our only true inter-faction rank other than admin. Since the ranks are not given really easily, if you attain a high level it is something to be proud of.
- Your rank can give you a certain level of command at events (any SeeD gathering) and whatnot if no other leaders are present. This would also apply to meetings when they start up again.
- Those with higher SeeD ranks may gain some opportunities in the future which aren't available to others.
- In the future there are likely to be other perks such as exclusive events and other things.
As of right now I do not know whether or not the Emblem system will continue in its current state. There is a chance that they may be converted into SeeD ranks at a later date, for this system will hopefully provide more to the member than the loose emblem system.

A few final notices...
- As with everything else, any abuse of this system should be reported in the Mod Appeal Board.
- "Community Admins" can have SeeD Ranks. However, Rylkan and I should not be given any. Just a reminder to mods.
