SeeD Rank

Possibly, but since Emblems aren't really doing anything now, it isn't too unfair on them. I'm not sure about a 'conversion' thing, but I think it's true that those who have built up emblems won't have a problem earning rank, they've already proved their worth through other ways and have made a splash.

If you could "cash your emblems in" for ranks. People would just go out and report thousands of autoers and then ranks would be pointless...
Oh. And a suggestion. I'm not sure how easy this would be to implement, but perhaps when you click the member list, there could be a "sort by rank" catergory. Ya know?

The way it's looking, emblems will evaporate, but the actions that it took to get them could quite possibly be combined into the ranking system. And then for the Honor Society, let's say... Only SeeDs with a rank of... I don't know, 3-4-5 and other, or something.

Sounds good Cspace
I think that it would probably be good if every rank was exponentially harder to get....much like the levels in runescape. That would not set a max limit but would make getting any higher at a certain point very hard to get.
On my seed ranks site in my signature I think I will add the SeeD ranks and possibly remove the emblems....when i get the time that is.

All right, this great Cspace!
It's similar to what I was hoping we'd ahieve when I posted that idea in the suggestions forum: new rewards. The greatest rewards for contributing to SeeD and staying active is a better reputation so that everyone actually knows how fab you are.
I thought of a possible option with combining SeeD Ranks with emblems unless you already thought of it. Basically once you've reached a certain amount of emblems, you gain a SeeD Rank (maybe every 20 to keep it difficult or somthing). That was giving SeeDs an extra "notch" in their ranking is more fair and clear.
One thing I don't like though...it's yellow?!
You got somethin' for that color Cspace.
*gets Spike to blackmail you to make it cyan*

Well....I can tell that I'm not gonna get any ranks on "Good behavior" Merely because I don't really agree with people...I stay in the gray, hence I always have an issue with everyone, be it big or small.
I hate to say it...But this is REALLY judgemental and more than likely unfair...Maybe even more prejudice than my court system idea. But...I suppose we could try it...What's the wore that can happen?

Realistically speaking it's about as judgemental as any ranking system or the warning system, including what we've had ever since SeeD's first day with Commanders and so on. The reason this is being implemented is so hopefully more can have a rank of sorts than before, to hopefully facilitate meetings, and it is also something we can do to thank members and also to balance the negative warning system. If a SeeD does go out of his/her way to help the place, there's no reason not to maybe give the member something to show for it.
It's not exactly the same as a system intended to deal with member issues, it's just something else we can do to thank members for what they do as well as possibly give opportunities to display leadership.

Perhaps, but given that only five people have the power to change ranks at the moment, it probably won't be an issue.
Those who will remember, will speak fondly of the warm morning breeze.

If what you say is true, Cspace...Then why am I denied more of a chance on my own ideal?...How was I to fix things with no problems? There WERE no problems, since no one would give me any. I'll never understand you Cspace...I never will.
