Cable at last!

Finally it has happened. We have installed Cable! And it is sooooo freaking fast! XD I think I'll go watch a sports game...ON MY COMPUTER!

Hehe. Upon further inspection of download size. It took me a week downloading maplestory in parts. However...I can download it as one within 2 1/2 hours! Hehehe

Read 'em and clap boys.

I'm running with the big dogs now.

Cable is da bomb!

I, personally, have Comcast... 'Tis awesome, though sometimes has problems with the connection. See, we have wireless, and still have good speed... Through an Ethernet, incredible, though I don't have.

whoa gratz... i just got my cable a week ago.... but my FREAKING COMPUTER IS ANCIENT!!!!!!!! so it runs sorta slow 4 cable.... maplestory is 12 hours... then again im sporting a
state of the art vintage 1999 computer with a
blazing fast 500mhz processor
a whopping 19.4 gigabytes of hard drive space
an incredable 128megabytes of ram
a floppy drive
windows 98
2 standard boston acustics speakers W/a subwoofer (for their sive their pretty good)
a 100 mb zipdisk drive
and last but not least a dvd/cd read only no burning drive.

crown burned me the cd for maplestory and it took me 0.1 seconds to download

he had to dl it overnight

*Still hoping for that day my dial up doesn't DC; usually when I am in depth as much as possible into a game, i.e. fighting a kalphite queen (never have, but just as an example) it would DC.*

I have damn fast internet, but through a wireless network.

Unfortunately it messes up when I play Maplestory. So, I can't play MS.

Welcome to the club! I'm actually looking into cable since it seems to be better than DSL in our area now... cheaper, too.

Though, actually, SBC hasn't had any outages lately. Only reason I get kicked off so much is because of a bad wireless setup.

Those who will remember, will speak fondly of the warm morning breeze.

]. Just be carefull they dont slap a 'net usage limit and download limit on you somewhere down the line. You Probably wont have that problem though.
