What if the two people assigned to a topic have the same opinion about the topic? Or are you organizing it so that whoever posts their side first means the other person has to fight for a different side?

Hopefully the debate topics are about things that won't cause any offense to people (like religion) so that choosing an opposite side isn't emotionally harming the person. >< I remember doing some in English class and it was:

You're in a library and a total stranger walks up to you. He takes out a box with a button on it and says "If you push this button, I will give you one million dollars, but someone you don't know will die." Would you push the button or not?

Things like that where it's fictional really help in debates so that things don't egt too serious and we're able to have the fun we're aiming for.

This topic was about a competition for those who are interested, not for a person to get mad at me for it being related to their Court Idea, which it clearly doesn't relate except for the term "Judge" and "Rest", which is being used in a debate competition so I can determine a winner. This competition doesn't include a legal judge, a jury, a court room, a crime committed, or a suspect

That was horribly childish of you Base. I think you need to pull your head out of the gutters and smell the coffee beans. It was -you- that ASSUMEd (note what's capitalized) that I was upset. When in truth I just simply stated. "Hmm...Reminds me of my court system." I didn't appear upset, and if I did, you didn't fulfill your role as a superior in SeeD, as a cop, as a citizen of the united states to attempt to find reasoning or ask me about it. Clearly you have failed your duty as a just person. I'm appauled by your naivity, just sickened by what you can put "Lol" With things that are a dire insult when it's just a misunderstanding.

I can't see how you, a person who's supposed to help people and jail the bad guys, is supposed to actually help the community here. I'm displeased, Base.
