I disagree with you guys bluetongue.gif 'twas a great movie biglaugh.gif yes.gif

I thought it tied in perfectly with the storyline, Lotsa Lightsaber action ^_^ - and we all finally find out why Darth Vader has to look like a 6 foot tall vacuum cleaner (that uhh wears a cape) biglaugh.gif

Gotta love the comedy in it though, lolz R2D2 was hilarious!! biglaugh.gif rofl.gif

Absolute perfection. Lucas could not have tied everything together any better. I mean, even at the end of the movie they wipe 3P0 and R2's memories so they can't remember anything about the past, as they don't seem to in episode IV. It's absolutely amazing how it's set up to tie into the original movie.

Btw, the funniest part is when Yoda walks into Palpatine's throne room and just puts his hand out and the guards are slammed against the walls; the entire theatre had a hard time stopping laughing bluetongue.gif

I saw it yesterday, neat movie.

Better than 1 and 2, but greivous could have been alive longer sad.gif

And have you noticed that some of the lightsabers are blades, and some are just like... cylinder things? The 'blade' lightsabers also seem to have a deeper, more electric sound.

And also, what does an orange lightsaber stand for? Red is sith, blue is republic, green is jedi from other places (I forgot the word....), purple is 1337 jedi (why isn't yoda?), yellow is jedi who specializes in killing/assassinating.

But orange?

One thing that's wierd is that in episodes 1, 2, and 3 everything looked a lot newer than the originals back in the 70's. 1, 2, and 3 take place before the originals... eek7.gif

Because the empire ruined everything in 4 5 6

in 1 2 3 there was no evil empire ruling over.

The acting was definately not. Basically it just continued Lucas' legacy of making a good storyline but falling apart at the acting. There was no chemistry between Padme and Anakin, and a lot of the lines were just dry or deadpan.

The color of a lightsaber has nothing to do with affiliation to either side. It just reflects whatever the color of the crystal inside of it is. After all, Windu's lightsaber is purple, but yoda's is not. This piece of information is reflected in all the official starwars literature.

I was very disappointed in Grieveous, especially since I saw the Cartoon netwok miniseries, which was excellent, and in my opinion on par with the movie. There was also not enough Wookie carnage, and Obi turning into the beastmaster there was kinda stupid.

Heh, Yoda was probably the best actor in that movie.
