Trivia Question Can someone help?

There's this coded message that I need help with as I have no idea how to decode messages. The coded message is:

8?QCD8F5LQRNGN==FJ7AN74HB

And the key is:

maleriaisstupid

If anyone can help me out I'd be very happy. Also, if possible, can you show how you did it so I know how to do it for future reference? Thanks in advance for any and all help.

It's for a class I'm taking at the moment and yesterday was the first day. I had no idea that it would include decoding. I just need someone to show me how to decode things like this so that in the future I can do it myself.
