Technically speaking, if someone responded to this thread they would be 'spamming', while really they are just discussing methods to raise your post count.
For example: the double post.

EDIT: read all of the posts, they all have good examples and techniques.

As you can see, the double post is quite annoying and isn't a good method.

2. The serious debates. in a big debate, you can always find a way to make a response to what the above poster has said, especially if you are online at the same time.

3. the phony debate. Like this topic, you technically have something to talk about, but the amount of sanity is just enough too keep this from insanity.

The double post is never the way to go. A usual good way is a debate. But those serious ones don't appeal to everyone. So we have phony debates. But sometimes, annoying people with excessive posting is good.

There is also the 'post 5 seconds after the above person'. It isn't double posting, but works quite well.

One of the bigger porblems are the 'Hyperfriedal Mods', named after Hyperfried during the big splosion. they are people who root out every bit of insanity out of GD and CZ. using a clever topic like this, these can be avoided for quite some time.

The '5 second post' method is immeasureably good, as you can see we are using it now.

What i just said is a very good excuse to double post. You can simply say 'I was bumping the topic because something important happened', AE, the first post was edited.

Yes, that is always a good method. Another good way is to create a topic where you create things, you can create a lot of horrible things and constantly post saying you made another one.

That, unfortunately, was called a 'summary post'. Basically, you post what the above poster has posted, but in different words. this is not a good idea as this often brings the topic down.

The only exception is if that one word or emote is used very rarely. Then people wave it off as a 'small portion of spam that doesn't destroy the actual topic'.
once in every 20 posts is fine for this.
