Piracy. Your opinion?

We all know what piracy is. In case you don't, its when you make illegal copies/serial numbers/keygenerators so that others dont have to buy the software.

My view is this: Of course its bad, but there isn't really a way to stop it. ALL of the bigger keygen sites switch hosts almost every week, making them impossible to take down. Even if one is taken down, people still have keygenerators saved on their computers, which they will share with freindsies.
I personally have never pirated, but I know several people who have in real life.

Whats your opinion?

llike you said the goverment can track the servers down but can't go after millions of people who downloaded it and sharing it. I think that this is unfixable and the goverment can't do much about it.

well, if you think about it, even downloading a song and burning it is common piracy

I made a topic in here about this ages ago, think it got DAed...

Piracy can't be stopped. 95% of my 10GB downloads in the last 5ish days have been pirated movies.
