We've flooded before... at least two big ones in the last year, like Ferret said...

Evil.

Oh, and Alpha! Ferret doesn't live in Pittsburgh...

I wonder who I am thinking of then...

Yes I do know what river you're on about, and I know how evil it likes to get sometimes. We went over there during El Niño (the big one awhile back) to observe the watery carnage... yeah.

Personally, I'm up on a hill (Dark, if you know where David & Forest meet, that's close to me at about the same elevation). And I'm on the second floor. Ha.

Well, Hyper, you can't really use that as justification, becuase Ferret might live in Pittsburg.. and if you travel at a certain speed, it can still be 5 minutes away grnwink.gif\\Got my room/compy back in order. Still need carpet, and gross whiet-clobbed cement of coldwetness is icky sad.gif

I don't know of any houses with basements in Australia... Weird. Or attics, except a room you need a huge ladder to get into and you store old stuff in, and they have rats... Icky.

This was totally out-dated.
Now it's updated.

I've got one of those attic things, haven't seen any rats in there though. Lots of old junk though.

Assuming you entered your birthdate correctly, your profile is telling me otherwise... but hey, memory is one of the first things to go grnwink.gif

Nah, it was 1995-ish.

A combination of the fact that this is SeeD and the topic is in Chatting Zone.

Bleh that's horrible to hear Zolly sad.gif

In New Zealand, we're like a home to floods at a certain time of the year now which is sorta odd since it never used to happen as regularly as it does now. Like nowadays the area by Whakatane gets the severe floods so like people can't get out of that region and this year some houses just like completely vanished... and on the news it showed a house just like slide down the hill because the supports were put under too much pressure due to the flood.

In Hamilton it ain't as bad as that... defenitely not like the Whakatane area. It's more like sometimes the Waikato River (runs right through the middle of Hamilton) might rise up and sometimes River Road might actually get a bit of the river on it but that's happened only a few times and was quite ironic when it happened. bluetongue.gif

And I'd be really scared to find some Big Rats in the attic... *shudders*

^^ Thanks Ayumi, you rock!! ^^
