Who's to say it didn't? I mean, we've [USA] been at war ever since september 11th, and there's always the possibility that this could errupt into a much larger conflict that would be the third world war.
Edit: Oh, and Henk... could you resize the image in your sig so that there is no horizontal scroll bar when you post? It's a nice pic, though just a tad bit too large. And interesting name, mind explaining where it came from?

Those attacks were really devastating... But it doesn't seem like too many people are taking it seriously. A few people buffed up some security, but that's it. This is some serious stuff... What was it, 30 dead, 300 injured? That's way too much not to take some real, real notice of, especially when a European Al-Quaida group claims responsibility.
Just me two cents.

Hmm... I think I heard about 50 dead, but I could be mistaken.
It's true it's not as devastating as September 11, but neither should it be underplayed. A lot of people lost loved ones, and a lot of other people were seriously injured.
I'm just glad it wasn't any worse than it ended up being... It easily could have been.

Which tragedy was worse doesn't matter. The major concern was that the US, Spain, and Britain attacks were all on mass transit systems.
Couple of things:
- Many factions claim responsibility for attacks. Before today, the "Secret Organization of Al-Qaeda In Europe" was a virtual unknown. The only reason this is being linked to Al-Qaeda is because of the similarities to the Spain Bombings.
- This happens during the G8. Aid for Africa and Environmental Concerns were high on the list, being pushed majorly by Prime Minister Blair. After this, listen for Stopping Terror to go back high on the list. Thank goodness Aid for Africa has been approved. (50Bil in debt relief)

I think it's horrible. Me and my parents were talking about it last night, and my mom said that she wondered how any human could do stuff like that, and my dad say that they aren't humans, but animals... It's really true.
