Guild Hall

Just thinking, maybe we should start discussing how to obtain a guild hall. In order to really get into PvP and be a respected guild we'll need to get one somehow, and we can either get one when we're stronger and can fight for it, or we will need to save a bit of money for one. The cheapest I've seen one go for was 48k, and I think the average is between 50k-60k at the moment (if we don't earn it in battle). Just wondering, because either we should start saving up or we will need to find a way to earn it otherwise (which I doubt we're capable of atm).
Just wondering what everyone's thoughts are, because I'm pretty sure that the hall is on all of our minds right now.

Provided we could even make it to the Hall of Heroes, I think it'd be a long time before we were capable of winning.
I was thinking the price was somewhere more in the vicinity of 35-40k or so, but I could well be wrong as I haven't seen them being sold much and prices in GW seem a bit unstable.
Anything around that price is going to take us a long time to save up for, but it seems worthwhile. I think I've got about 8k saved up, so I'll keep trying to save up... we're going to need a lot each at this point as I'm not sure how many of the clan members are going to be willing to pitch in (thinking more of the randomly recruited people than you guys, hehe).

I have about 4K, just saving up. I'll be willing to give as much as I have to get a hall.
As for winning one...
I really doubt we could. I, for one, am not really a very serious player when it comes to builds and PvP and that stuff. I just go with what I want, and not what is best. I don't think our clan will be capable of winning the big leagues. At least not anytime soon.

Yeah, I haven't been seriously studying builds or anything either. And even if we all had excellent builds with level 20 accounts and there were actually enough of us to take part in it, we don't have the skill or the teamwork to stand a chance in the Hall of Heroes. If we want a guild hall, we're going to have to save up for one.

Not sure if everyone knows this (or if it's really important), but incase anyone was interested in which halls are available and see them for themselves, talk to the guy on the ship in Lion's Arch. He lets you check out all the halls which are available, maybe while we're not yet capable of obtaining one we can at least decide on which one to get when the time comes.
Also, you are apparently capable of buying a sigil from an NPC at the locations. Right now they seem to be 47 plat. Not cheap, but doable if we work at it. I'll post a poll in a little bit regarding the halls, since there aren't so many choices maybe this decision will be easier than the capes.

Is it known whether the sigil selling NPC is a trader, or whether it's a set price?
With a lot of the NPCs in the game prices fluctuate wildly on supply and demand, not sure if that'll be the case with that one or not.
And 47 plat should be possible, given a bit of time. I think it'd be worthwhile helping a few other clan members further into the game, so they can help make money towards it as well. I think we can all agree that a hall is worth it, plus it'd help with recruiting quite a lot.

It is not a set price, so it could go up and down.
