Javascript works in sigs, right?

You can choose width, height, scroll speed, and whether or not it pauses on mouseover. There shouldn't be any problems using HTML codes for color and whatnot inside it either. Only downside is that the actual contents have to be on one line; though you can use <br /> and <p> to divide things up, it might be a bit irritating.
Still, this one should work properly in all browsers that support Javascript (rather than working properly in IE, half-assed in some browsers, and not at all in others).
------
Personally, I find Firefox's "oops, it's vertical, better send the page on a roller coaster" reaction only a major issue if I started reading from a new post in the middle of the page.

Hmm... Well there are some things which simply cannot be shown in sigs without vertical marquees, and in my experience they often are read. It means that people can no longer be 'sigged', unless they're really quick two or three line quotes. Larger pictures are often marqueed if they can't be resized without making them unreadable.
Its a great part of SeeD, People getting 'sigged'. i love reading through peoples sigs

i think they should be kept

yup.

I'll never go to Firefox.

It really looks like you are making a real effort to 'change'. What you just did is one of the things you said you wouldn't.

Nope, the newest version still has that problem.

aye. evey time i come across a sig, i cant resist reading it and getting distracted i think they should be kept

i know its annoying in firefox, but goshdarnit, it aint all that bad. 'tis only a minor annoyance when, as phiphi said, youre in the middle of reading a post in the middle of the page.
but unlike you folks, i find that amusing for some silly reason

somone needs to try the javascript scroller in a sig to see if it works, otherwise, mabe CSpace could figure out a way to add a "marque" button to the sig pannel that added the java version or something like it in a working form? (it could be done! i swear it!)
