where would i get photoshop and, how much would it cost?

adobe.com, last I heard like $850 USD.
You can get earlier version on ebay for prety cheap though. CS is almost as good as CS2, the only difference is CS2 makes things faster and easier, so if you see CS for sale for cheap, dont worry about it not being the latest.

You can get older versions for even less, and they work just fine -- I'm still using PhotoShop 6, and my Graphic Design (Yearbook, really) class is using 7.

You can also try The GIMP. It's free and loads Photoshop files as well. (It's not perfect, mind you, but it's the best you can get for free -- well, legally bluetongue.gif)

You can get the free trial of CS2 from adobe.com, it's good for 30 days.

Yeah, I think I'm running 7. I don't use it enough to actually tell the difference between the versions, or need to. Although I didn't need to buy it, my dad had it lying around or something.

Don't know. I doubt you can get them from Adobe anymore; you'd have to go to eBay or something.
