The only things I dont like about bush:
1. He's an oil hog.
2. No child left behind sucks.

Other than that, hes not too bad.

First of all, you shouldn't hate any President. Everyone has disagreements with the president of a country, but you should never hate your leader. You have to remember that the president doesn't have much authority over the country/government and that Bush doesn't call all of the shots. All he can do is propose his ideas and of course lobby for it, but he can't make decisions on his own without passing it through Congress and the Senate first.

Second, the president of any country has no influence on the price of oil what-so-ever (Not even the Saudi king).

... and if you want a little secret that most people don't know, Saudi Arabia essentially owns the United States in the first place. They have billions, if not trillions of dollars in our economy and all they have to do is withdraw it all to sink us. If you want to blame Bush for everything, then you have serious problems or are ignorant to the function of your own government. I'm not a Bush fan and I'm not a republican, but I certainly don't like to see people bash their country's leader because they don't understand how the government functions in the first place. Do some research and you will understand what I'm saying.

Bush does not own any oil at all. He has a substantial amount of stock in companies who refine oil (if you actually understand what stocks are), but he doesn't own any oil. Bush has not made oil prices go up, he has no control over oil prices.

Also, he didn't cheat in the election. There is no possible way for a candidate to cheat in a national election.

I'd be glad to debate the issue if you would provide facts for your ignorant arguments. I've yet to see a single piece of evidence that you have used to prove your point. Telling lies does not prove your point. I'd also like to suggest you do some research if you are going to make such a bold statement such as, "If you debate me, I'll win".

are you that dull? bushes dad owns oil and so does he. and yes he did cheat im afraid. he would of lost florida. but since his brother is govner of that state he riged the voting machines. and made it so bush won the election. why do you think he won becuse of popularity? he sounded like a stupid nobody when he debated with kerry and gore. kerry beat him in all 4 debates. so did gore. but yet he wins and you wonder why? dull people like you vote for him and his brother keeps riging the machines. argue.gif

it's ironic that the person you accuse of being dull has perfect spelling and grammar, while you, the accuser, can't even spell "rigged" right. i thought you would recognize Bush as a kindred spirit in that sense, but i guess i was wrong.

edit: by the way, popularity doesn't depend solely on the outcome of debates.

First of all I am 26 and have worked for the US Government previously. I'd appreciate if you don't call me dull when it is you who doesn't have a clue what they are talking about. Nobody is allowed to even own oil in the world due to treaty and world laws. The Bush family does not own oil, for the last damn time.

GW Bush did not win Florida because of voting machines being fixed by Jeb. First of all, they didn't use machines in 2000. Second of all, there is a government agency put in place by the current president of the election to handle and monitor voting.

Now, if you would read my post, I said I wasn't Republican and I didn't vote for Bush. However, I can't tolerate ignorance by people who don't understand the government and the function of the government. I keep repeating this and maybe you will understand and do some research before you speak next time.

A debate is not a competition, so nobody can win. The purpose for a debate of candidates is to show the American people their own beliefs and to clear up misunderstandings and false information presented by the media. So again, research is the key to a mature debate.

If you intend to call me dull atleast have your facts ready and "win" the debate, then you can be immature and personally attack me for correcting your mistakes. I'll proceed with this debate when there is a mature and respectful tone coming from you. Until then, I will sit back and watch ignorance take its course.
