Explanation Rule
In order to avoid people simply taking answers from the internet and solving the riddle without any thinking involved, you must justify your answer with explanations of how you came to that answer.

If you can make an alternative answer to the question and I see no problem with the answer, you will also be awarded the point.

Riddle #38
Lighter than what
I am made of,
More of me is hidden
Than is seen.

the answer is ICEBERG

Ice is made from water, some of it is evaporated as its frozen, and you cant see most of an iceberg because most of it is underwater.

The pants are optional here sir.....

I do believe that it is an iceberg... However, the explanation...

Well, an iceberg is quite bright with light reflected off of it, and icebergs tend to be a lot more underwater than above it.

Silly people, The first part tells us how an iceberg floats. As the ice is lighter than the water; which ice is made of; it floats. nonono2.gif

By the second part, it states that more of the iceberg is underwater than above the water TheSmile.gif
Empty sig is empty.

they get devoured buy spiders, they are fast if they are thin, slow if they are fat, and if it's windy, it's hard for them to fly

Actually, flies live longer than a day... And if I accepted that answer, all other insects would count as well. Nope.
