Now, I voted for Kerry and would have liked to see him in office. Unlike some others in this thread, particularly one person, I'm informed and understand the government and the functions. See, I didn't want Bush as our president, but I will support him since he earned the position at the polls. I might disagree with some of his policies, but I don't say I hate him because I don't like some of his opinions.
In order for you to continue this debate, you should present a valid argument and opinion and not say "I hate Bush and you are dumb". First of all, the war has nothing to do with oil and doesn't give Bush any monitary gains. Second of all, I'm not going to go die for the oil, which isn't the reason for a war. I'm just hoping you will understand that your opinion and argument is simply that of a 3 year old and is a good source for human stupidity at its finest. In order for people to listen to you and not laugh at you, you should introduce a valid argument so we can actually debate.

what i was confused about was which side Base was on, at least for the purposes of this debate. yes, he supports Bush now that Base can't do anything about it, but Base also said that he doesn't agree with what Bush is doing. in other words, Base supports Bush in action, while he disagrees with Bush in belief. so my question was, which side was he going to take? is he going to argue FOR Bush in terms of why we should support him, or is he going to argue AGAINST Bush in terms of why what Bush is doing is wrong?

thats two difrent debates there. One is "what is Bush doing wrong", and the other is "why we should support Bush". they are unique topics that should be debated seperately in my opinion. mixing the two just brings out confusion, as we have already seen.

- First of all, try to spell correctly. There's a button to the right of the Smilies that says "Spell Check."
- Second, don't put a bunch of speculation and opinion in your argument. You need facts, or the whole thing falls apart. Here's a few beginning blocks: Democratic Republican
- Also, insulting people is not going to get many people to support you.
- Finally, don't use or listen to one source and take it to heart. People lie.
Just so you know, I personally don't care about your political stand point. It makes no difference to me. I do have a problem with those who trash and attack people and groups who have done nothing except disagree with you. That goes for everything.

I honestly don't think Bush is doing such a bad job. I can't vote, so I really don't have much of a say in anything. I won't, however, even consider voting for Hillary Clinton. That facist wh*r* should NEVER be elected. All she seems to care about is taking away from the rights of defenseless children who can't fight back. First amendment pwnz joo.

I don't support everything Bush does. But the extent to which the country is divided is truly sickening. So things didn't go your way? Stop crying about it! Maybe the government might be making more centrist policies if every time they tried to actually do anything it didn't start a war in the senate. Instead of just opposing everything the government tries to do, why not try COOPERATING WITH THE OPPOSING POLITICAL PARTY to create a better policy; that's what the two-party system allows us to do and that's how things should be working. This 50-50 divide is killing the country because the two sides won't cooperate.
I bow to the supreme wrath of Lord Crescens.
