Going into my second year of college.

The way that grades work:

As of Dec. 31st of this year (Unless you failed/skipped a grade) you will be in the following grade based on your age.

17 --- Grade 12
16 --- Grade 11
15 --- Grade 10
14 --- Grade 9
13 --- Grade 8
12 --- Grade 7
11 --- Grade 6

And then your chance will come to hate the freshman next year

You're not allowed to hate freshmen until you're a Junior. Even then, you're not allowed to take part in Freshman Friday until Senior year.

That's the unwritten rule here, anyway <_<

when we have freshman 13-16 years old and sophomores 14-19 yrs old... i think the rules bend

Yeah kinda odd for all you Northern Hemisphere residents. bluetongue.gif

The reason is because everyone like starts school in Summer and Summer for all us Southern Hemisphere people happens to be your Winter. biglaugh.gif

Kinda good for us peeps too because it's easier to co-ordinate the school year since we start the school year at the start of the year. *can't wait 'til the holidays*

Hehe, I know that the seasons are opposite down there, but it still seems weird when there's an actual example of it bluetongue.gif
