This is our fifth week.

I have plenty of compy access at school... Yearbook (internet access, but not allowed), MAOS computer lab (Was open three days a week Freshman year; now I don't even bother to check), school library (internet for school purposes only), etc etc.

Even when I can get on (including using a friend's laptop with WiFi), the school network uses Websense (the company that classifies The Best Page in the Universe as "Tasteless" and blocks MySpace for "Adult Content"), which means relying on proxies -- which usually are slow, add a crapload of ads, and prevent several common features (forms; secure connections, etc).

I could always use my phone to go online, but the speed is horrible and I only get 1 MB per month -- past that, Cingular takes a penny a kilobyte. (Interestingly, if I use it as a bluetooth modem, it only counts against my minutes -- which I have plenty of -- and gives slightly better speed, on a full-size (laptop) screen, with no Websense. Fun, sorta.)

So, yeah, in short, no school internet for me I'm usually not on until evenings now.

It's funny how New Zealand and Australia have like the same timetable for school time however Australia decided to start two weeks earlier... so we don't see each other during the holidays.

For me we're halfway into Week 5 of the Third Term and we have our Practice Senior Examinations on Monday in Week 8 which is in 3 weeks. In 5 weeks we have our two week term holiday break where we are meant to have a break and "prepare" for the upcoming NCEA Exams (Seniors) which are in Week 6 of Term 4.

Man I need to study for the Senior Exams... each test is 3 hours and we happen to be taking NCEA Science and NCEA History this year and those two tests fall on the same day... so we have 6 hours of tests on ONE DAY!

Then again I guess IGCSE Exams would be worse next year...

Heheh, started myself last Monday. Usually only get on here if I'm home, but my schedule is so wierd who knows when that is ^_^.

Lucky Daryl , I'm 6 hours short after this semester, so that'll make. . . a good 18 years straight for me . Not counting if I go straight for a master's, heheh.

Only 6 hours JGJ ? Heheh, just kidding, it's nicer to have just one final on each day, minimizes the amount of time spent hanging around being impatient (well, for me anyhow).

school finishes at the end of next year for me, but i intend to going to uni straight after, unless i defer for a year, so ill've been at school for at least 15 years or so...
