Well now my computer is working properly again, I'm finally able to get back to GW. Finished Sanctum Cay an hour or so ago, so I'm in the desert at last. Hopefully I should have a little spare time to play, if people want to team up to do stuff. Or just hang out in the desert and try and get some good drops. Suave_anim.gif

I'm gonna do Sanctum Cay soon. I just need to do a few quests here and there first. But then we can ascend together.

After you do the last desert missions (Elona Reach is the worst screama.gif) it's easy enough. Just when you are about to go into the rock, equip 7 bad skills that have long casting time/little effect, and 1 good attack spell. You come up against a mirror of you, so he has the same skills, attributes and armour. If you're a monk primary, my friend's best time killing the doppelganger is 30 mins...

Elona Reach is annoying, lol. I'd actually recommend that you use henchmen for that instead of players (unless you know who they are). bluetongue.gif It just takes one who doesn't know what he or she is doing (or who has a computer that lags at the wrong time) and the mission is over. On the other hand, henchmen don't care if they die doing what you tell them, and they do a good job at focusing fire if you use them correctly. Just don't rush, try to take one group of mobs at a time, and eventually you'll beat it.

In my opinion, if you have warrior in your template, just bring in healing signet and a couple basic weapon abilities. I went in with healing signet, sever artery, and gash. With that setup I found that the battle became quite easy in comparison to a full set of abilities. May have been luck, but just having a few basic abilities will make things easy to predict. You can predict, the AI can only react. grnwink.gif

Keep your health up, use a DoT attack if you can (not a buff that gives your weapon DoT damage, because that will make things tough on you), and when it heals itself blast it with your attack ability. Then just keep going until it's dead (if you have a little luck on your side).

If I'm on when someone's doing these missions, I will be glad to assist. thumb.gif

Necromancer is in my opinion the easiest to win over your doppelganger with. Equip lots of skills that drain life, and you're set. I killed him in what seemed like about 5 seconds, and I only hit him about twice before he died.

E/Me took some time and strategy, but I just equiped flare, empathy and a whole bunch of mesmer mantras that did absolutely nothing against flare, and just spammed flare until it died. Btw, I left the clan for a bit to join another so I could get some practice in GvG. They're ranked 400 something, and I'm learnin a lot from them.
