The following are threads for which the Cafeteria is intended (since some have been asking me lately):

- Accomplishment threads. While they won't necessarily be moved out of GD if posted there (unless you post them frequently), the cafeteria is the place where they technically should go. One common example is post count milestones.

- Chat logs and other humorous quotes that you feel would invoke some sort of discussion. One example is MSN logs. These could be moved out of GD if posted there (and moved to the cafeteria), depending on whether its point is purely humorous or if there is some other goal.

- Borderline topic-less threads that do have some sort of point. Kinda hard to explain, but the closest example I could think of is something along the lines of idle conversation. It isn't common that these are posted on forums but they do show up now and then, and the cafeteria is where they belong if they aren't more appropriate in the insanity board.

- Anything lacking a specific goal or purpose that is not fit for the insanity board, or something with a goal or purpose that lacks enough sanity for GD.

Naturally GD would most likely have more posts. If something is borderline, go ahead and post it in GD because the line between the two forums is kinda blurry. The Cafeteria is supposed to be a filter of sorts so certain threads don't accumulate in GD, but shouldn't take threads from GD that are appropriate there.

Just thought I'd post this to help reduce some confusion.
