Specialized Leadership Roles
(Probably sometime in February): To help improve our service to all our members, we will be looking for specialized leaders to help better serve the clan. Expect ranks such as "Supreme War Commander", "Event Coordinator", and "Head Distributor of Arms" to appear.
Clan Blacksmith
(May happen sometime in March): This is a controversial update, and may or may not happen. Chances are that it will eventually, but we have to find a way so that there are no "losers" in this process. What this is, is basically a process where the clan will provide ores to assist one member with reaching a very high smithing level. This member, the "Clan Blacksmith", will then be obligated to provide high level armor to our members for free or very low prices. There are currently threads about this topic, and if you would like to make comments or ideas regarding this update, please post them in the specific threads pertaining to the Clan Blacksmith.
SeeD May Appear in Other Online Games
(Probably will happen around April-May): Well, since I've been receiving tons of messages regarding the promised "huge update", this is it. Before you say that this is a bad idea, keep in mind that I'm not the only one thinking that this would be good for the clan. Nova Dreamer, too, agrees that this would benefit the clan. Prior to this update, all the necessary precautions will be made to insure that it will not harm our Runescape-based clan (it will remain Runescape-based, but smaller factions will emerge in games such as EverQuest, and possibly games like Ultima Online and Final Fantasy XI). In fact, at first there will probably be no real effect on the clan in Runescape. This is because EverQuest, our first target, already has a great clan support system. The member list will be on the game itself (so I hear), as well as every other essential need for the clan. New game-specific jobs will emerge, but that's about it at first.
I bet you're wondering about how this will improve SeeD. First of all, many SeeDs don't just play Runescape (at least I hope not, lol). Also, some have left to play other games. Why not make SeeD available to them in the games they play?
Ok, this will benefit them, but how about the rest of the clan? Well, it will bring in a lot more traffic. Along with our Runescape-based forums, we can also be a "mini gaming community". We will be known in other games as well, and possibly gain new ideas to benefit the clan as a whole. It will also give SeeD a larger image, and allow for more members to try their hand at leading their own clan in the name of SeeD.

This is what Nova Dreamer has to say about this idea: "I think that the expansion of SeeD to other online RPG games is a good and bad idea all in one. By definition our clan is one that is made to promote the peace and to the betterment of all the members of the clan by active participation of the members. For this reason it will work very well if we move to other RPG gmaes where the ability to ally ones self with other players, because we can as a team make a step in progressing to a level of further enjoyment in the game. As well we can protect the games out there from those who wish to create an adverse environment for fellow players. However I also believe this idea has some flaws in that it will only work in certain situations such as Runescape and other Multi Dungeon RPG's with fellow humans. But the biggest worry is the rift in the clan that will be made if there is a sense of two factions of seed who never deal with the other, or a sense of superiority in part of the older members of the original SeeD. I believe it is a very good idea and a good step for the clan, but one that must be marker with caution."
As he said, there will probably be some difficulties. For this reason, we will have to begin this process slowly. If we find that it is not doing well for our clan, we will break our first branch (the EverQuest faction) into its own clan and continue the way we are going right now.
SeeD Will Emerge as the "Peacekeepers of Runescape"
(ongoing process, this seems to be where we're headed): Some may wonder about what I meant when I said "possibly impact the game as a whole", and this is why. Many other clans have tried to do good, by stopping rulebreakers and possibly attacking clans with bad intentions. Quite a few have been successful, but unfortunately haven't been able to influence the game on a larger scale. As our clan grows, I feel that we will be capable of doing more good, attacking rulebreakers and stopping clans with bad intentions (such as "destroy them all" clans, which will cause harm to other clans, specifically the smaller ones which may need more help).
As for how we are doing this, we are currently setting up some new peacekeeping jobs to see how it will turn out. If successful, we will gain the support of many other clans, which will probably help improve our standing with the honest players of Runescape, and help stop the rulebreaking which has been infecting the game since it's creation.
Looking Further Into Our Future: The overall theme of this is that our future is currently undetermined, but that we have quite a few plans and goals for what we think would be best for our clan, and where we are headed. As for the path we take, that will ultimately be decided by our members. I personally feel that SeeD has a bright future, and that there is no better time to be a member than now, when things are really happening, the clan is changing for the better, and our future is constantly being molded by the actions and ideas of all of our members.
