I recently have completed an offer from "freeipods.com". To my surprise, it is actually a legitimate business and I will get the Ipod. The problem is that after you complete the "1 offer", you must refer 5 friends. They must in turn complete an offer. In effect, it is a never ending chain (good strategy, I must say icon_sweatdrop.gif ). I just have to find 4 other brave souls to complete it bluetongue.gif . So, if you want a free Ipod, I suggest to just buy it. Doing it this way isn't as worth it, but I'm sucked in now Whatever_anim.gif .

I hate doing this, but the Ipod is alluring screama.gif . If you'd actually want to try this, contact me via MSN for the link.

I've known about it too, but most of the offers I've done in the past only required "100 clicks of the link" or "1 referral". 5 is going to be a pain sicka.gif .

www.freeipods.com is owned by Freepay, formerly Gratis Network, and is known to be a legit company (as evidenced by several news stories and their BBB record -- plus, a friend's cousin got a free iPod from them, which is proof enough for me -- plus plus, their sponsors include major companies like AOL and eBay). You may have to jump through some hoops (i.e. convincing your friends) in order to complete your end of the deal, but if you do so, they will not rip you off.

Personally, I'm holding out for premiumipods.freepay.com as they offer the 60 GB video version grnwink.gif Can't decide whether or not to keep it, as well as whether or not to swap its HD with the 20 GB one in my iRiver -- but I'm definitely going for it as soon as I turn 18 (my parents feel that even if the offer is legit, it's too hard to sign up enough people, and would hence be a waste of time leading only to spam in my email box... but to paraphrase the Monty Python, "I move... for no spam.")
Those who will remember, will speak fondly of the warm morning breeze.

Hmm you could also create another address just for ads, for example hotmail or something, but that's really up to you. Good way to keep out a lot of spam, in your main inbox. ebsaturn1.gif

Good luck with that, I don't like getting into that stuff personally. ShiftyEyes_anim.gif Although everytime I tell someone I want an iPod when they want to know what I want for my birthday or Christmas, they laugh or say "I want one too!" Yes, my relatives in their 40s-50s are going to have much more use for them. yes.gif I guess I'l have to sacrifice some car money. sad.gif

Nobody here will do it. I tried it with everyone here before, with multiple reasons of its authenticity, but they all just flamed me.

thats because you gave them a link to your referral so that when they sign up they count towards your five required referrals.

i hope that's not what Nighthawk551 is trying to do.

Thats kinda what you're suppose to do. I gave like an entire page of proof backing up the fact that its not a scam, but all people could say was that its a scam.

The /only/ way to get 'free' ipods is to REFER people, you can't really just say go join etc etc, you'd have to supply them with a link to note that you referred them. Some (well a lot now a days) make sure they refer people (their referred not counting to you), but if they don't refer then you get nothing. These aren't scams mind you, just their way of making sure they aren't scammed, and yes they are annoying to do but well worth it if you complete one.
