Homeschooled. Can study and be on the forums at the same time.

Either that, or I'm not allowed on the computer until parents think I've done enough.
Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be "The One".
Born to bear and read to all the details of our ending
To write it down for all the world to see.

Um... Pay attention in class? eek7.gif That's all I do unless I fail something. Then I actually study in that class until the grade is raised up. If I am studing, I'm not likely to get on the computer for a school week or two.

As far as homework, I just do it when I first get home so when I'm half asleep I don't have a bunch of Algebra to do.
(I also have no life. That helps too.)

I'm just gonna try getting it done right whne I get home. I don't have that much anyway, I'm just lazy.

And the whiteboard idea thing sounds good.

I've got a full honors workload, and this really nasty World History Honors teachers who gets his daily amusement by making us write despicable essays.

Well its true, and I've been researching things that might make my life easier. One was called The Memory Book, by Harry Lorayne. It teaches you these life-saving techniques to make memorization much quicker.

Next is a technique called NLP. It stands for Neuro-linguistic Programming, and is basically a way of programming your brain so that you automatically do stuff. I just started researching it, and it seems very interesting. I'll probably buy a book on it.

The other thing, is write it down on paper that you will not go on SeeD, will not eat candy, will exercise 30 mins/day, etc. Put it on a poster and log how many minutes you do go on even w/ this vow. Swear by something you love, or your religion, and I bet you this number will go down even more. Put stickies up all over your room, with phrases like GOD IS WATCHING!, DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT, or IF YOU DO IT, IT'LL BRING YOU DOWN TO THE LEVEL OF MICHAEL JACKSON, etc.

Just do it!
And now we have the quote of the day, from greenl2l: PLONGED!!!

Well I know I can't lie... I get good grades, don't study and spend most of my time either on SeeD or playing computer games. icon_sweatdrop.gif I never do homework at home unless it's really important. If it's real important, I do the homework the night before it's due... although I somehow don't recommend that. bluetongue.gif I have no idea about the grades thing though... I never study for tests and I mostly never pay attention in class. I guess for me... I dunno what to say about me slacking off yet getting good grades. I'm Asian? bluetongue.gif

Same for me. For all of dat bluetongue.gif

And if your willpower is as weak as mine is, try to set yourself rewards. Rather than going on the net before you get your homework done, say to yourself 'Once I get this done, I can spend an hour on SeeD'. That kind of stuff can help motivate me occasionally.

If I say, 'Once I get this done, I can spend an hour on SeeD', then I'll just say, 'And if I don't get this done, I'll have two hours of time on SeeD instead of one'. Meh, I have horrible willpower too, but I still get good grades. Confuses me too conf.gif

Uhh... Yeah... I often times have tried to force myself to do homework when I got home, and it worked for like... One day. I just hate the feeling I get when I suddenly remember I have homework, and I have to do it before going to sleep and stuff...

Hmm.. Speaking of homework... Maybe I should go check if I have any...

pfft.. homework... lol

Naw, i generally get my work done in class quickly, then i spend the leftover time doing homework biggrinangelA.gif

Just like ze others, dont actually do too much homework, unless theres something real important coming up, then i'd just do revision, and not actually talk on msn much/post on forums.

Buuuuut, As goto said, that'll have to change next year, seeing as we'll be in year 12 (last year of school for us ozzies) and ya have to do as bestest as ya can TheSmile.gif
