*Breaks down doors and holds out new Drivers license*

Class E intermediate.

After four, yes, FOUR trips to the DMV, I finally took my road test and passed.

Four trips you ask? Here's how.

1: We go for the road test. My mothers license plate ID is out of date. So that has to be fixed before I take my test. We go fix it and return to the DMV again.

2: Upon arrival, I appriach the desk and say "I'm here for my road test."

... Ooops. Road tests are not accepted here after 3:30. And the time was 3:45.
*Scream*

Oh, I can't forget to mention I almost had a BAD car wreck on the way home after that second trip. Some guy pulled out in front of my and stopped while I was going 40 MPH+.

NEXT DAY~~~~

3: Arrive 9:27 AM. The instructor comes out and look everything over. What's that? My left front blinker signal doesn't work? Oh! I can't take the test unless it does.

We drive all the way across town to Auto Zone and get that fixed. Then back to the DMV.

4: I return.. Show the instructor my sezzy new left blinker signal.. And we're off.

I return to you all now, street legal between the hours of 5:00 A.M. and 11:00 P.M.

Congrats on the license. I know a few people who have taken the test 4 times, thats where I thought you were going with this.

The one guy I know on his third test would have passed but on the way back to the DMV he got cought by a train and said "oh f*cking train" and the instructor failed him for road rage.

Grats foolio!

hehe i didn't have to take the road test.
I was homeschooled, so i used the homeschool program for drivers training that they have in texas, and at the end, it there is an option for your parent (teacher) to wave the road test if they think your good enough. (had a learners permit for a couple months by that time)

so my Mum waved the road test, and i got my license!

It's not so bad, and they let you drive later if it's for work or something, and it's just the first year if I recall (unless the rules are different there from here).
