First thing to do would be to look through the gardens to see which one you want to join.
Most of the active gardens have developed different personalities and so looking through them first will give you a better view on which one suits you.
Id recommend the Blood Deamons or Falador knights (my garden)
Of course there are other active gardens but those 2 are my favourites they both try to hold events and are both led by very active and helpfull commanders.

Hes been in SeeD a while now.
First things would be do the druiadic ritual quest, so you can do herblaw. Then you should start on some of the easy quests.
One would be fishing contest, so you can go under the mountain (over has lvl 71 wolves).
Then you should start lvlng some member skills, like thieving.

go to kamajra from port sarim then go east til lthe members gate then follow the north shore to the dock it will take u to ardougune and the garlic is upstairs in draynor
