I decided to raise my magic. I went to tippit and found out that it would take out exactly 1123 fire strikes to reach level soandso magic (don't know what level exactly, lol). So... I bought a fire staff, 1123 mind runes, and 2246 air runes, donned my wizzy suit (blue skirt, the fire staff, wizzy robe, blue cape, saph ammy, wizzy hat) and set off for the wizzy tower. Conveniently, there is a lesser demon in a cage, easily slain by magic, Plus, there is a nice comfy bed. How handy.

From killing the darkwizard that keeps attacking me (and a newb that I promptly looted), I have gained 39 gp, 24 water runes, 7 fire runes, 1 coal cert, 14 earth runes, 1 coal, and 3 natures. I have gained 2 magic levels and slain 2 lessers. The first dropped coins, and the second dropped 8 chaos runes (which I telegrabbed).

I've got 903 fire strikes left, so I may be here awhile.

I went in with 38375 XP (level 38) and noe have 60149 XP (Level 44). Combat level was exactly 49, and now is 49.75

As I said, I brought my wizzy stuff (blue skirt, fire staff, blue robe, blue cape, saph ammy, and blue wizzy hat), runes for 1123 fire strikes (1123 mind, 2246 air, plus the fire staff) and up to 5 telegrabs (5 laws, plus my well-used air staff). I've used 1291 air runes and 635 minds, plus 1 law, and gained 77 coins, 24 water runes, 3 fire runes, 1 coal cert, 38 earth runes, 1 coal, and 3 natures. Unfortunately, people don't seem to realize I lock up the darkwizard for a reason, so they always kill it (allowing me to stand in the respawn area as I nuke the demon). Having not brought food, I am now at the church, recharging prayer as it runs out, and using rapid heal. Works quite well actually. I'm gonna bank, then kill another demon, then off to bed.

BTW, I've killed 7 demons. The only thing worth telegrabbing was 8 chaos runes, which I promptly used. the coins, ashes, and steel axe are rather worthless to me (a maxmimum of 800 gp is not worth 1k).

BTW, I would have gone from 38 to 48 magic with this, but am going to go for 49 instead. After 505 more fire strikes (have to buy another 189 minds and 378 airs though) and maybe some fire bolts, body-rune spells, and telegrabs/ teleports, I will be able to enchant ruby amulets. I will do this for free, so let me know

Also, for those wondering... the only thing of value I've looted from the demon is the 8 chaos runes from last night. The quest for another rune med continues...
