The man winks, his thin eyes enlarged by his eyewear.

It's used in potions, but I'd say you'd need around 5 of them, plus a secondary ingredient.

Denirik holds out a bronze sword with a handle entwined with a snake. "Can you analyze this for me?"

And what would that ingredient be for, say, a strength potion?

The man looks at both of them.

"Strenght potion...hmm, you'd need wormwood, from Dryads or Branchlids, but you couldn't take on on alone, oh no. Ask your friend there to help you. As for that sword, it's a Anguiblade. It has 3 ATK, and if you win the battle, the sword gives 5*level extra EXP to you and any allies."

Okay Denirik, let's go get some wormwood.

Denirik holds out the amulet. "What about this, sir?"

The man looks at it.

"Boy, that would seem to be a cursed amulet. I wouldn't wear it unless you could get it blessed, and I can't see through the demonic aura.

Pendragon walks in and shows him both the Hunk of fire wurm metal and the Wurm intestine and asks "Are these worth anything? Would i be able to use them for things, or are they useless junk?"

"Hmmm..." The man says, narrowing his enlarged eyes. "Not necessarily rare... You might be able to get a low quality fire shield from these, that repels some fire damage. I'm not sure... Might be too poor of items. Go and see the smithy!"

"Well, that helps! Thanks!" says Pendragon as he walks out the door.

Denirik holds out a demon shard and one of the strange metals. "Can you tell me what these are?"

Metal, that be Mavrania. I'm sure the smithy could make a mighty powerful weapon wit' one'a those. As for the shard, I'd get that encased in a holy field as soon as possible. Ask one of the Children of the Seraphim for that.
