Yes, Stinger2U, you have discovered the seeming paradoxes of UFF values and vision. There are answers to them. I had to answer such myself when UFF had infrastructure problems.
Therefore, I had to weigh what truly are the core values and true purpose of UFF to come through this, wherein I could see the merger with SeeD as the best move.

The temptation for a clanleader to become autocratic can be easily fallen into. It can even be done having good intentions. Pride is a deceitful sin. It is a temptation to other leaders also.
If someone resists the overlords, they seek to rise against him.
If someone become an overlord, the United Freedom Fighters rise up.
Pick your side everyone! You are what you do.
The overlord will attempt to gain a following by claiming to bring freedom, when actually all he brings is chaos and bondage.

I may not have, what some considered as, a title now of "clanleader" anymore but I do still lead by example, therefore, nothing has changed for me.
Yes, I do continue as founder and the visionary leader for the United Freedom Fighters Movement.
As you can see, I am not grasping for titles or for power or for vain glory but instead I do what needs to be done for clanning freedom in Runescape.

I have kept UFF values in action, in purity and in strength. I have continued to maintain the UFF Movement through the hardships, with not thought for my own reward. Herein, I provide the by-example leadership UFF is noted for.
Therefore, I say, not boastfully or arrogantly, be imitators of the good example I provide. That is, so long as I provide the good example of leadership.
Do also know as a leader, all problems may come to you, but not all problems are all your own fault.
