Well, if you've been here a bit lately, you probably realize that our update has gone in another direction and is going to become part of CurvedSpace. For that reason, I've started another *percentless* progress thread, hehe.

I'm going to post parts here as I get things done, and I'll be able to receive input for the various pieces of the site as I work on them.

I'll post the first part tonight, and please reply with comments about anything I post here.

I can say that 5 times fast bluetongue.gif

Format looks great! Pretty much the same thing, but different, lol.

EDIT: Geez you've got a ton of stuff in your Systray... would you recommend Dreamweaver over Frontpage2K? If so, where can I get it?

Those who will remember, will speak fondly of the warm morning breeze.

Hehe, my computer is full of junk bluetongue.gif

I would recommend Frontpage for beginners, though anyone could probably use Dreamweaver effectively with a little work. Frontpage makes simple sites easy to make (the current SeeD site is made with Frontpage, though the program can do much more than frames). I use Dreamweaver for new sites and CurvedSpace (and the upcoming SeeD), and I found that it makes complex sites easier to make (though simple sites more complex, hehe). The interface is a little annoying in Dreamweaver though, 'cause you're always moving things around to see what you're working on.

Another thing to consider is the price, since Dreamweaver is about four times as expensive (last I knew). But it is a very complex program and can do many things. Frontpage is also a very good program though, and with some knowledge of HTML you can do a number of great things with it.

I think Frontpage can be found at most computer stores, and Dreamweaver can be found on the internet and certain stores (I've seen it at Comp U.S.A.).

I could change around the scripting of the links and give them nice effects, though not all browsers can view the desired output.

Holy...

I found a method of very quickly transferring the site files into the new layout... You may think I'm crazy, but if you see this tonight do not have a nervous breakdown or something (not the forums yet though, hehe, they'll take quite a bit of work).

Mods: Please don't moderate this because it is a double post, it's a progress update that I thought everyone would like to see.

Matt Nye.. The Geeky guy has done it again!

What is this method you speak of though?

And I used frontpage, except a lot of the cool features aren't supported by shaw.

*Grumble grumble*

Just a way of embedding the old site files into the new layout. They will look exactly the same, just with the CurvedSpace look (at the moment).
