A very very naughty boy asked his mum what he was going to get for Christmas. "Nothing!", she replied. "You've been a very bad boy all year, and you're not going to get anything". Now this young boy wasn't a Christian, but he got out a piece of paper, and wrote a letter.

Dear Jesus,

Please tell your friend Santa to bring me a bike for Christmas.

Love, Bobby.

But he didn't get any reply, so he had a better idea. He didn't know of anyone who had done this before. He cycled down to the church on his old, deliapidated bike. He went into the church, and took the state of Mary. He went home and wrote another letter.

Dear Jesus,

Tell Santa to get me a bike, or you'll never see your mum again!
