LOL Stinger, I guess so. Maybe I am talking to the wall.

Sure he is entitled to his personal opinion. I guess he has an opinion of me now too. I didn't think I would be getting under someone's skin about this. Goodness!

I guess I shouldn't be the only one to be accused of being dramatic. Actually I've posted some very good sence about all this.

Honestly, I'm not trying to anger anyone about this. UFF simply represents another side to clanning. No need to get all heated about it.

Because these posts about all the war stuff were a laugh at first now its boring and repetitive and full of false hope Whatever_anim.gif and the only clans who say "They're noobs, join us instead" are, and im not being mean, generally level 80s-90s, seriously compare the levels of clan leaders and notice the difference ;\. You cant base them clans on every other clan and assume its the requirements doing it.

United Freedom Fighters may die in battle but we are not "OWNED" by anyone. We return to haunt our killers.

~~~~~~~~~
do you mean that you followthem around and call them noobs?
lol ech if u ahte the drama so much why do u check this forum in the first place bluetongue.gif why do u even try to continue the drama going on right now? O_o
UFF was like seed when seed was pure RS and not this whole world-wide web it is now. in my opinion seed was better when it was like UFF cause u actually had in-game things going on and not attempts to revive the clan but fail.
i sort of have to agree with spikeout that this topic in itself is pointless drama.
however, the pedant in me just has to mention this.
QUOTE
The term "gay" here is not referring to homosexual. It is the old term where it is referring to the happy esoteric crowd. I have used the term because a "cool" club is not exclusive.
i was shocked, as i thought for a second: "wait, how could this be? is it possible that there was a third meaning - "esoteric" - of the word "gay" that i didn't know about?"
however, as i expected, in all the entries for the word "gay" at dictionary.com, there was nothing to be found about "esoteric" or any other similar meaning (esoteric, by the way, means "understood only by a select few").
so either you actually meant "gay" as "homosexual," in which you case you did mean to insult these high level req clans, or you meant "gay" as in "happy," in which case you make no sense (and thus are a dumbass), since "happy" does not apply at all to the high level req clans in the context you describe them in.
but yeah, that was just me criticizing people for their mistakes as always. i still think all of this
"high level req clans are gay!"
"no, you're just saying that because you can't get in!"
drama is bull****.
Just a side note:
From reading dokimos explination, in this topic, then I would have to agree on his deffinition. Because a gay club would refer to being exclusive, it's an old saying from way back in the 70s/80s (maybe 50s?). Anyway point being it is a real term to refer to a club as being gay, as in exclusive, although it is barely heard and used anymore.
A note to dokimos: I doubt anyone would even summize what you meant by the word, I'd suggest being careful when you say the world 'gay', because 9/10 people will think you either meant 1) Homosexual 2) Happy, however most would think it was #1 not #2 or a saying which most people don't know about.
To Kaezion: dictionary.com barely has anything anymore, plus the 'gay club' meaning exclusive clubs was a saying like, "Give me an elephant and I'll give you a shoe." <---Real saying by the way, no idea what it means, but I've heard it before. Anyway dictionary.com wouldn't list saying (specificly old sayings).
i dont normally do this but....
Dokimos is right, many people in exclusive clans do abuse their rights yet they dont realise this. This is the only thing I agree on with dokimos, the choice of freedom, freedom to join whichever clan you want regardless of level.
This doesnt mean im flaming those clans that are strong and have their huge requirement levels but in my opininon dokimos has a right to speak his opinion and so does everyone else.
One thing I cant get is that if you guys seem to hate eachother, why did you's merge in the first place??? Surely you guys must realise now that you's have a choice. I admit i've made a lot of bad choices, some I regret but then again most you wont regret. Choice were made to be chosen from.
So you don't think clan leaders should have the freedom to choose who they let in their clans?
yes if they wish
example:im not gonna let someone join UDA that hacks accounts and swears and flames a lot on our forums.
but hen again that doesnt mean that they cant stop other people from joining their clan, so it can be varied,
yeah you cant stop them from being selective and all but thats one runescapes all about, taking on challenges.
I agree with Kilobite0 about this. There is an appropriate conduct for players which is reasonable to expect. UFF refers to this as VALUES and has most forthright emphasized these.
Let me mention, though, that clanleaders should also, though, discourage their clanmembers from acting inappropriately on other clan forums as well. Sending spies within other clans is not acceptable behavior and is a bad policy for clanning.
* * *
UFFs merge with SeeD was not an anticipation that all SeeD members were going to have to see things the same way as UFF. We didn't even have that when UFF was without SeeD.
The purpose here is to emphasize in Runescape player freedom from oppressive clan rules and to exhort resistance against overlords. We promote the ability for any level to join in Runescape clanning.
Our purpose is now even better accomplished within SeeD. If anyone will take time to notice, this is working out very well now, isn't it? Our unity to perform the values of the UFF Movement is growing.
From the beginning of UFF, United Freedom Fighters has been a movement. It continues on as such. sing.gif
