The PS3 is going to be a monster, that much I can say. The Xbox 360 is just riddled with problems ranging from overheating to hard disk crashing. What Nintendo is doing is they are going with the creative and artistic approach to the next generation market. The reason why they are doing this is because they want Nintendo's CEO is more innovative and creative and knows that there is a set amount of loyal Nintendo fans out there and will hopefully secure more of the market with the Revolution.
You should wait until both the PS3 and Nintendo Revolution come out. The reason why I say wait is because by the time they both come out there are going to be some very major game launches for all 3 systems. Right now the Xbox 360 is still young and new, it's going to take a while and require some improvements before it can be considered the top system. As far as PS3 is concerned, quite a few game developers are waiting until Sony does a worldwide launch and then they should be able to get a lot of their games on the market. Also by that time the Xbox 360 will have matured as a system and a newer revised version of it should be released. After that you should weigh the pros and cons of each system and then choose.
