This is a suggestion, but a pretty big one, for anyone interested in scheduling an event. This includes a contest, party, PK trip, organized skill boosting event, mutual fundraiser, train, promotion, insanity, or whatever else can be organized and conducted in-game.

If you desire attendance, the Event Forum is your friend. The same goes for the Calendar, although this should be secondary to the Event Forum. Anyone can post on either or both. The Event Forum is the place where all of SeeD should go for events and contests, so they're easier to find and also in plain view. The calendar is useful because it sticks a notice of your event at the footer of the board index a week ahead of the scheduled date.

Attendance is obviously not guaranteed for every event though. Remember that you should be scheduling something that, if someone else scheduled it, you'd feel like attending.

However, regardless of how great an event is planned to be, it will almost definitely not meet its maximum potential if it is only mentioned on a forum or by a means contrary to either of what I listed above. Posting in a Garden forum is not enough for attaining maximum attendance, so unless you want a Garden-exclusive event, I would seriously recommend that you check out everything else SeeD has to offer because you would otherwise not be meeting your potential.
